About Us

The Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) has been making a difference for cancer patients in our community since 2001.
Founded by the physicians and staff of Atlanta Cancer Care, a medical oncology practice with offices located throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area, ACCF was created to help alleviate some of the financial burdens experienced by cancer patients and their families.
From its inception, ACCF has focused on making an impact for cancer patients in our community, with a service area that includes 17 Metro Atlanta counties: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Rockdale and Walton.
ACCF maintains low overhead and administrative costs, ensuring that the maximum amount of funds raised go directly to fulfill our mission.

Our Mission
To reduce the additional stress that a cancer diagnosis could bring by providing assistance to patients in financial need.
How this mission is accomplished:
We assist adult cancer patients in the metro Atlanta area through financial assistance and outreach.
Our Vision:
To eliminate the stress caused by the financial burden of cancer and treatment so that the patient can focus on healing.
The symbolism of ACCF’s logo is that our roots in the community are deep, and we continue to extend our outreach like the branches of a tree. The budding leaves symbolize the hope we strive to bring to local cancer survivors through financial assistance. The bird represents all of the ACCF donors, volunteers and supporters who continue to prove that every act of support makes a difference. The specific color of the bird is lavender, which represents cancer awareness of all kinds.
